WHITE MOTION (“the Company”) is committed to the protection of Personal Information acquiring from our customer. The Company therefore has set the following Privacy Policy to promote Personal Information protection through causing its officers and employees to thoroughly recognize the importance of Personal Information protection and to take appropriate steps to ensure Personal Information is securely maintained and managed.

Personal Information

Under this Privacy Policy, Personal Information is personally identifiable information such as address, name, telephone number, e-mail address, etc. provided by customer to the Company. Personal Information includes “Specific Personal Information” defined in Use of Personal Information. The Company acquires only Personal Information that our customer has voluntarily provided to the Company based on its free will.

Use of Personal Information

The Company uses Personal Information acquired from the customer only for the purpose of providing information about the product or services, responding to customer’s inquiry, and performing contracts entered between the Company and the customer. Except for required by law, the Company only uses Personal Information acquired from the customer within the purpose stated herein and shall not use Personal Information beyond such purpose without prior approval of the customer. A personal number (i.e., My Number) or any personal information containing such personal number therein (i.e., Specific Personal Information) will use only for the purpose authorized under the “Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures.”

Handling of Personal Information

The Company maintains Personal Information of the customer as current and accurate as possible, and implements appropriate measures such as maintaining security system, development of organizational framework, and utilizing thorough education and training to employees in order to prevent unlawful access, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of Personal Information.

Restriction on Disclosure to Third Party

The Company maintains and manages Personal Information acquired from the customer. Except under the following circumstances, it shall not disclose Personal Information to the third party.

  • When the Company obtains approval from the customer.
  • When disclose Personal Information to the company’s contractor(s) in order to perform the service requested by the customer provided that the Company shall cause such contractor(s) to secure the same level of protection that the Company implements to Personal Information.
  • When required by law.

Information Security

The Company shall make its best efforts to maintain accuracy of Personal Information and manage Personal Information securely.

Inquiries, Amendment or, deletion of Personal Information

When the customer inquire the Company about Personal Information the customer provided, or requests to delete or correct Personal Information, the Company takes the necessary measures after the Company confirms inquiry or request was made by the owner of Personal Information.

Legal Compliance

The Company shall comply with laws of Japan and applicable laws and regulations in connection with Personal Information protection and may update or amend to improve this policy when appropriate.
